Box 443      Orwell, Ohio  44076 440.437.5442  Email:  CSinfo@ConversationStation.org       The Conversation Station is located on the south side of Route 322,  just east of the traffic light in the center of Orwell.        Conversation Station is now on facebook!  +++++++++++++++++++++++ We will be closed for the month of August and re-open on September 13th.   Conversation Station needs volunteers to keep it running.  We provide a safe place for the kids to hang out and we can mentor to the children.  These children are our future and we need to "teach them well and let them lead the way."  It is such an honor and a privilege to be able to teach/listen to our kids and become an influential part of their lives. About Us...The Conversation Station is a self-funded, not-for-profit organization.    The Conversation Station provides a safe place for children after school.   Adult volunteers, with BCI checks on file, supervise and mentor the children.  There are plenty of activities to choose from or just quiet spaces, if they prefer.   Children are provided a free snack and beverage.   Currently, there is no charge for membership, but donations are always accepted.  Membership is geared  for 4th grade and up.   However, students in 2nd and 3rd grade can attend with an older sibling.   Kindergarten and 1st grade students can attend with parents/guardians.
Please help with our fundraisers if you can. We have the Concession stand at Community Park that could use some volunteers to help in the evening. ~~~ We also have an ongoing e-fundraiser with Avon.  Go to youravon.com/jillcherneskey click on online events and put in code "conversation" and we'll get 25% of all sales.  Please tell your friends across the country.  You can have your items delieverd to your door or chose to pick them up at CS under representative delivery.  Orders over $30 are free delivery. ~~~ If you have any fundraiser ideas for the CS, please let us know.  It is through donations of time and money that we are able to provide snack for 25-30 kids every day as well as a place to play pool, arcade games, puzzles, Wii, and fellowship time.
