Volunteers at the Conversation Station were honored at a special dinner in apprecation of all the time and dedication they generously give to the children. The evening ended with entertainment by Irish musician, Mr. John Hoyle. A good time was had by everyone!

During the Easter/Spring break, the Teen and Student Board members along with two adult volunteers were treated to the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Wayne Hummel, from Strings-R-Us, introduced string instruments to children during the afternoon session of "Making Music" event on February 18th. In the morning session, Mrs. Deborah Inks engaged the children in making their own instruments, shared information on which Presidents played an musical instrument and much, much more!

The Wii Bowling Tournament was a giant success! Conversation Station members competed against each other and the top players bowled against Rick Taylor, owner of the Grand Valley Bowling Lanes. Kayla was the Champion of the tournament and received a family bowling package from Mr. Taylor.

Monthly birthdays are celebrated the 1st Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Conversation Station. Dates for upcoming parties are: June 3rd at 4:00 p.m., July 1st at 2:00 p.m., August 5th at 2:00 p.m. See you there for your birthday or to celebrate with everyone else!
